Suzanne Yale is a fourth-generation San Diego lawyer. She was born and raised in the East County area of San Diego County and graduated from Valhalla High School. She graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2008 and joined the firm that same year; she is now a partner. Suzanne’s practice focuses primarily on family law and estate planning, but she works closely with Gene and David in their civil litigation matters as well. She is a member of the San Diego Family Law Bar Association and the Tom Homann LGBT Law Association.


Suzanne received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from UC Davis, where she was an All-American Candidate and first team All-Western Region softball player when her team won the NCAA Division II Softball National Championship in 2003. She still plays slow pitch softball for fun and is the Assistant Commissioner on the board of directors for San Diego’s oldest and largest adult softball league, America’s Finest City Softball League (a local non-profit league dedicated to serving the LGBTQ+ community).  She is also enjoys camping, reading, traveling anywhere and everywhere she possibly can, and chasing after her adventurous daughter.
